And if you are single, the Alpaca Bamboo His & Hers quilt is also a great idea, use the lighter weight side in summer and the heavier side in winter. One quilt for the whole year.
Alpaca fleece has some very special properties especially its warmth compared to other natural animal fibres. Alpaca quilts are approximately twenty-five per cent warmer than wool quilts and can therefore be designed to be either warmer than an equivalent wool quilt, doona or duvet or made with a lighter weight design and have the same warmth.
