This French artist painted colourful bouquets with thick paint and expressive brushstrokes. This still life depicts the lavish way in which he cast his flowers onto the canvas. The thick paint and distinct brushstrokes are also clearly visible on the quilt cover. The quilt cover is made from 100% cotton sateen.
